I must've gotten all your skillz there. I've spent quite some time on a drafting board, and have used CAD/CAM for awhile, too. Each to his own strengths! Even though I was in the Navy, I didn't navigate. I was down in the engine room slaving and sweating.

Weirdly, my cat is never underfoot.
Mine isn't either. But he is excellent at herding me toward his food bowl. He waits at the bathroom door and guides me into the office/sewing room where his bowl is kept away from the dogs.

I bought a pair of memory foam insoles today and now I never forget why I walked in the kitchen!

My favorite class in engineering school was drafting. I drew some really awesome renderings.
On a drafting table.
With a lead holder (like a pencil).
On paper.
Once I got a job in R&D, my schematics were works of art. I can't freehand worth shit, though.

Just as the good Lord envisioned
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

It's very well documented that this was the case. You might share this with her:
