And, besides, if Koresh spent time there, he’d probably have fucked both the daughter and her grandma. Either her no doubt ancient paternal grandma or the more manageably aged maternal grandma. Yes, Vernon’s age range was that broad.
Also, as a side note, while I was trying to look for more context on (and a higher resolution version of) the photo, one of the pages talked (at a bizarre length) about the age gap of the dad and mom, using that as an excuse to create another nightmare scenario when the whole “200 fucking guns laid out for the world to see” should give you more than enough. Yes, I can clearly see that Mom looks half of Dad’s age, and that thing’s been more heavily scrutinized since the Metoo movement, but given that she looks like she’s in her mid-thirties, I seriously wonder how old is old enough to give Mom a little agency in this scenario.

Well, THAT was a stupid fucking article. Making assumption after assumption about dad’s mental health, a kid’s t-shirt, and mom’s suspected age, all based on nothing more than the family owns a lot (a really, really lot) of guns.
Has the family threatened anyone? Harmed anyone with guns? Threatened to shoot up a school, a place of worship or a women’s health clinic? Is there ANY evidence of spousal or child abuse?
Fuxxake, people.

Giving kids weapons, let alone assault rifles is not normal, nor should be normalized. I mean, Biden is trying desperately to prohibit selling weapons to minors (with a good reason), so how better it is to expose assault rifles to kids?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Sorry, where did you read this couple is ‘giving kids weapons’?
And, FYI, Biden is not trying to prohibit selling weapons to minors - that’s already illegal. He wants to raise the legal age to do so from 18 to 21.

(FROM NYPOST)
]I did what I was trained to do,” Albarado told the paper. In a just after midnight Wednesday morning, Albarado said one of his daughter’s teammates and friends was among the 19 students who were killed.
“I’m so angry, saddened and grateful all at once. Only time will heal their pain and hopefully changes will be made at all schools in the U.S. and teachers will be trained & allowed to carry in order to protect themselves and students,” he wrote.
19 trained cops can't prevent 22 murders, but one teacher can?
Uh huh. Guess who gets shot first? It's not enough that teachers are underpaid and overworked and have to essentially beg for basic textbooks. Now they are expected to become freaking urban commandos and take out a deranged maniac with a gun ,And don't even get me started on the logistical nightmare of security guards in schools.

People who say "harden schools up" have no clue about the logistical challenges of even freaking doing that.

Oh we do, especially those of us who did alot of hardening. It's just that seems to be the better option than "nothing" - that we could realistically achieve in this political environment. I do wonder, though, whether nutters would feel even the slightest tinge of irony after many decades of fear mongering about government control and tyranny.... when every preschool hallway has a faceless man employed as an agent of the state outfitted like a kevlar samurai silently and relentlessly patrolling the halls to be ready for any unauthorized activity on grounds.

When I went to school the scariest things there were the nuns and Br. Richard, who was the disciplinarian. Not one time did I worry about guns.
I didn't even worry about guns in schools when my kids attended, even though we were in redneck land where everybody had a gun, or four. The last one graduated in 2005.
Now I worry about the grandkids...not that they are packing but that they may be caught up in this kind of crap. Though two of them are here and our cops are SWAT wannabes so I doubt we would have a Uvalde here.
