Every other planet we can see is roughly sperical, asteroids slightly less so due to their reduced gravity (but none are "flat") why would the Earth be different?
Do you think the "government" is messing with my head when I look through a telescope at the Moon or Mars? (yes I know we can't see the back side of the Moon from Earth, but there is a slight "wobble" that lets us see part of it and we have put orbiters around it to take prety pictures
