That’s Camille Zapata, she’s his new 29yr old digital director. MAGA is a very online phenomena. It was always going to be a young kid who knows how to troll the trolls who could cut through the sort of helpful criticism the establishment has been tripping over. They’re not dangerous people, they’re not evil masterminds. These things build the facist case rather than tear it down. They’re pathetic clowns….and that’s the one thing a facist can never be seen to be and survive.

It's assumption on my part, but I have to think that Newsom has approved this trolling.

What Newsom understands and Trump doesn't is that raw political power is never enough - if you win the culture war, you WILL win the political one. It's not as fast or as sexy as an armed revolution, but it's always more sure of a future stability.
We know that Newson's trolling is having an effect because MAGA are panicking like they never have before.

Trump reportedly plans to mobilize up to 1,700 National Guard troops across "19 states in the coming weeks".
The troops will largely be activated from "Republican-controlled states".
Trump threatened to send the “regular military” into Chicago and New York.

More like a call TO civil war. Gandhi once said, ‘Fifty thousand British soldiers cannot control three hundred million Indians if those Indians do not wish to be controlled.’
Similarly, 1700 guardsmen spread across nineteen states isn’t going to be enough to handle the inevitable backlash.

It's also execrably bad military tactics, trying to wage war on multiple fronts simultaneously and telegraphing the move far in advance. My Spidey senses are tingling - who's actually in charge here, what are they really planning, and what are they trying to distract from?
