I had read that before and I wasn't against having a tin foil hat guy around (the last one we had gone AWOL), but alas, he broke the rules repeatedly, despite our warnings. The banhammer was forced to drop.

Yeah, it is too bad. I love reading conspiracy theories. It gives me shit to write about and laugh at.
I've only been here a short time, and I found the guy's views offensive---though that in itself isn't reason to wish him banned. However, having made a faux pas in posting etiquette early on, I know from experience the staff will reconsider decisions sometimes. I'm glad to be back, and have since scrupulously observed the rules. If he was warned, he should have done the same. Judging from evidence of his internet presence elsewhere, he doesn't play well with others.

It rarely happens, but this time it did, and unfortunately you got caught up in it. Quote:I'm glad to be back, and have since scrupulously observed the rules. We're glad you came back. ![]()
Personally, I wish there was the option to put a person like Anony in some sort of controlled/moderated state where they could only post once per every 12 hours or something like that. He was extreme, but not un-educated. He had several good points.
His posts did not annoy or interfere with my forum participation.
Find the cure for Fundementia!
He was pretty trollish. I'm not sure why Nazi Trolling should be allowed.

As a result, we ask that people summarize/excerpt and link to other sites. We aren't a mirror site or news aggregator and don't wish to become one. We aren't in the business of choosing the topics that people wish to post about, or the opinions they wish to hold. I find some of his views highly offensive as well, but the day we start censoring opinions is the day that I step down, leave and never look back. RE: A_Nony_Mouse has been banned

Edit: Nevermind, misread something. Ha. That's what posting and drinking will do for you.
