Why can't anyone invent a lightbulb this instant?
(This may seem obvious, but we are doing this exercise for pineapplebunnybounce's sake).
Would such person receive a patent for the creation of the lightbulb?

What I am trying to say is that if I made a lightbulb right now, I could not claim to have invented the lightbulb.
The creator of the lightbulb is and can only be a man who did not have access to the lightbulb. A man who came before the lightbulb. He would have done his work by lamplight. That's an objective, provable fact. I can build a table and take it to a patent office with similar results. Who invented the light bulb? I think the light bulb is a poor choice to convey your message since I believe two people actually invented it separately. RE: What is "FAITH"
