Virgin Mary, Ark of the Covenant

Virgin Mary, Ark of the Covenant
Since I'm the little lamb that follows mary wherever she goes (Mary's little bitch) I feel the need to explain why some refer to her as the Ark of the Covenant for Biblical reasons, Church tradition, and the writtings of the early Christians. We see the first prophecy of the virgin Mary in Genesis 3:15 I will put enmity between you (the serpent) and the woman

We begin to see partial fulfillments of this prophecy In the book of judges, we see Jael a woman who saved the Israelites by pounding a tent stake through the enemy Generals head. She crushed the head of a serpent. Later we learn about a women who saved Israel when she dropped a millstone on the head of another enemy general. So she crushed his head. Later we hear about Judith who saves the people of Israel when she cuts off the head of another enemy General. Again we see a woman crushing the head of an enemy of Israel. Israel is prefigured by God to be a type of the Church.

The enemy Generals were real people that existed, but they were intended to prefigure and represent Satan, his demons, and the enemies of the church. The women were really people who actually existed, but they were intended by God to prefigure our Lady. In statues and pictures of our Lady we more often than not see her crushing the head of a serpent. So when we consider these women and what they did for Israel, we can see foreshadowing’s of what she does for the Catholic church.

After Jael cuts off the head of the sleeping enemy General she is praised by Debora who says, “blessed among women be Jael”. After Judith cuts of the head of the sleeping enemy General than she is praised by the prince of Israel who says “blessed art thou oh daughter of the most high God above all women on the Earth.” Those praises sound familiar because those praises are foreshadowing’s of the Archangel Gabriel’s and St. Elizabeth’s praise of our Lady when they say, “blessed art thou among women.”

There is a prophecy taken from chapter 44 from the prophet Ezekial. It Speaks of the eastern gate of the temple. This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall pass through it, because the Lord God of Israel hath entered in by it, and it shall be shut for the prince, the prince himself shall sit in it.

Cornelius Alapaday says, ”All the Fathers state that This closed Gate is the virgin Mary in which the prince that is Christ the Lord sits, when having been conceived in her most pure flesh, he lived for nine months in her sacred womb, as if it were his own dwelling place and temple, and the phrase It shall be shut for the prince, means even when the prince passes through it, the Gate shall be closed and shall remain closed. This clearly states the virgin was and ever will remain a virgin. Even to the prince himself, namely Christ, the gate would remain closed.” St. Jerome also shared these views.

Remember that the Ark was a golden Box built to the exact specifications handed down to Moses by God, containing the two tablets containing the word of God the ten commandments, contained a jar full of mana, miracle bread that had fallen from heaven, it also contained the rod of Aron which had blossomed.

The Ark had a golden lid, this mercy seat which had two cherubim on it. when the Ark of the Lord was placed in the holy place, whether it was the tabernacle or the temple, the glory cloud of the Lord would come down to rest above the mercy seat. The Ark was so holy it couldn’t even be touched.

Remember what happened when king David was moving the Ark up to Jerusalem, they put it on a cart by sliding these golden covered poles through rings on the side of the ark, and picking it up and setting it on the cart because you couldn’t touch it. But then as they were hauling it, it looked like the Ark was going to slip off the cart and Uzzah reached out to steady it and was struck down dead.

In the Old testament, the Glory cloud of the Lord overshadowed the Ark of the covenant, “then the cloud covered the tabernacle and the glory of the Lord filled it. Neither could Moses go into the tabernacle of the covenant, the cloud covering all things and the majesty of the Lord shining for the cloud had covered all, for the cloud of the Lord hung over by day and a fire by night in the sight of all the children of Israel throughout all their journeys”. This comes from exodus 40.

In the new testament the Glory of our Lord overshadowed our Lady. “Hail full of grace the lord is with thee…the holy ghost shall come upon thee and the power of the most high shall over shadow thee”, Saint Gabriel the Archangel.

In the old testament the Ark contained…the rod of Aaron, miraculously having been dead wood blossomed into life. According to the prophecy of Jeremiah verse 23:5 one of the prophetic titles for the coming Messiah was the righteous branch, so she contained within herself the righteous branch who came to die but than miraculously came back to life. The old testament Ark contained bread of mana and the ten commandments. In the New Testament the blessed virgin Mary held the word of God made flesh, the living bread which came down from heaven for the life of the world.

In the old testament the Ark was carried through the hill country of Judah. (2 Sam 6:1-20) And David arose and went with all the people who were with him from Baalejudah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the LORD. In the New testament, ”and Mary rising up in those days went into the hill country with haste into the city of Judah” Luke 1.

In the Old Testament David greets the Ark with shouts of Joy. In the new testament Elizabeth greets Mary with a shout of joy and the very Greek word used here for Elizabeths greeting is very rare and only used in Old Testament Liturgical ceremonies centered around the ark.

In the old Testament David leaps and dances before the Ark while clothed in a priestly vestment called an ephod (2 Samuel 1) "and David danced with all his might before the Lord So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the horn"… In the new testament when our Lady enters the house of Elizabeth, St. John the Baptist who is a member of the priestly tribe, leaps for joy in his mothers womb.

David was afraid of the Ark that day saying “how is it that the ark of the Lord should come to me?” In the new Testament Elizabeth says, “and whence is this to me that the Mother of my lord should come to me”, Luke 1. St. Elizabeth carries a man more mighty than all the old testament prophets and saints. She is a very holy woman, but in the presence of her cousin Mary, she, like King David, feels inferior and unworthy to be in the presence of the Ark of God.

In the old testament, “and the ark of the Lord abode in the house of Obed-Edum the Gittite for 3 months and the Lord blessed Obed-Edum and the Lord blessed all his household. In the new testament, “and Mary abode with her Elizabeth about three months. No doubt the Lord blessed Elizabeth and her whole household.

In the old testament when the Ark was carried it was covered with a cloth veil. Just guess what color the veil is? “when the camp use to set out , Aron and his sons should go in and cover the ark with a cloth all of blue”. Numbers 4 5 and 6. Blue is recognized as our Lady's color and in many apparitions and images of the Virgin Mary she is wearing a blue veil.

In the New Testament John sees the Ark in the heavenly temple as a woman that we see in many images and statues of our Lady. Such as our Lady of Guadalupe. The interesting thing about our Lady of Guadalupe it doesn’t look like she is crushing the head of a serpent, but standing upon a crescent. Interestingly enough the crescent is the symbol of Islam, which is perhaps the greatest heresy ever invented by the serpent. She also crushed the serpents the Aztecs worshiped and brought them to the worship of the true God in the single most amazing conversion story in history.

John see’s the Ark of the Covenant in the heavenly temple as the woman. Rev 12 “Then Gods temple in heaven was opened and the Ark of his covenant was seen within his temple and there were flashes of lightning loud noises, peals, of thunder an earthquake, and heavy hail.

And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun with the moon under her feet and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with child and she cried out in her pangs of birth in anguish for delivery…the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bear a child that he might devour her child when she brought it forth. (This statement alludes to king Herods attempt to kill Jesus by the slaughtering the Innocents) “she brought forth a male child, one who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron. The child was caught up to God and to his throne.“

Rev 12:13-17: “the dragon pursued the woman who had borne the male child . But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness to a place where she was to be nourished for a time. The serpent poured out water like a river out of his mouth to sweep her away with the flood, but the earth came to the help of the Woman and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river.

Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus Christ”. We see that the serpent is angry at the woman. And the Woman is angry at the serpent. Ha ha! The serpent is at war with her and all of her children. A fulfillment of the Genesis prophecy. The last praragraph of Rev 12 states very clearly that all who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus Christ are Mary’s offspring. Keeping in mind that Mary is also a symbol an archetype of Holy Mother the Catholic Church and Israel.

Okay, so lets quickly review. We have looked at several types of the women in the old testament who saved the people of God by crushing the heads of enemy generals, and how they foreshadow our Lady and what she does for the people of God, the prophecy of the beautiful gate of the temple which is closed even when the Prince passes through it, which foreshadows our Lady’s perpetual virginity, and we consider the ark of the covenant as a foreshadowing of the blessed virgin Mary, Ark of the new covenant, Gods dwelling place among us.

We kneel before Mary as David knelt before the Ark. He worshiped God dwelling in the ark and not the Ark itself. We approach her with fear and trembling. She is the dwelling place of God and God wants to be worshiped in his holiest temple. She possesses all the virtues of the Beatitudes perfectly for it is no longer she who lives but God living and reigning in her where he has set up his throne

The only thing I told myself I really, really need to know about the Ark of the Covenant is that if I should ever find it, don't open it. And if I do "accidentally" open it, don't look.

So Mary was a beautiful white woman without pox scars or bug bites who was able to own and maintain clean and unblemished clothing that obviously has a high thread count in the primitive middle east culture circa 1 bc.

That is as hard to believe as zombies wandering Jerusalem and no one noticing..

TC, I thought you are Amish.
If you are referencing the Bible in that huge post- how about taking off your blue glasses and seeing exactly what it says.
Nowhere does it say "Mary full of grace..."

What the Catholics did, is transform the female goddess worship found throughout the times before they came along- into the Virgin worship of today.
Same song / different day.
The reason there is some agreement with Islam and Catholicism is the same demonic spirit is at their foundation.

WHen Mary appears to people she ussually appears as the race of the person she is appearing to. An example would be Mary appearing as an aztec girl to Juan Diego in Guadalupe and leaving the miraculous image that baffles scientists to this day.

So needless to say there I am before my sugar mama at a Carmelite Monastic order. After blowing everything on drugs, alcohol, and stupidity the Catholic Church took me in and I ran to Mary's bosom.

Unfortunately I didn't remain Catholic very long because I decided pornography, masturbation, and booze could do more for me than God, and came to the conclusion (being the insolent little dipshit I am) that God sucks and I know better. Almost going so far in my arrogance to say that God doesn't exist all together, but how in the how in the JesusHMurphybugfuckn Hell could I know that?

So I am in denial. A childish ignorant cunt with a pussy mind, insignificant speck of dust next to billions of people in the world, unable to comprehend the truth of this world around me, the mystery of the universe, or the reason for my existence, and if I don't understand something, I get frustrated and start screaming blasphemies, and blaming God!

However, I can tell you I was happier when I had faith. For the two shits and a wank that it is worth.Jerkoff

Hahaha! I did 6 Months missionary work in the ghetto of Buffalo new york. It was called St. Lukes Mission of Mercy. YEah you guys have a Lady of Fatima Shrine there lol.

I think St. Lukes is south east buffalo. Buffalo is complete shit hole! I got kicked out because of drug abuse and getting into a physical fight with a priest. I tried to put him in a headlock and did then he pushed my face into some furniture and the other residents rushed upstairs and broke it up.

I really don't know why you are so into Mary, it seems so Italian to me. (What I am referring to is that in a survey conducted in Italy, the practicing Catholics said overwhelming they prefer to pray to Mary or their favorite saint or the most relevant one over Jesus.)

I mean, look at the length of your post. Can you tell I did not actually read it? Because I don't give a single shit about Mary. I'm not even sure she actually ever existed in reality, or if she is purely a biblical invention. I mean, if Jesus existed, which is debatable, he must have had a mother, since it is not entirely clear rather Jesus was a real guy, it seems likely that Mary is a total fabrication. Does that make sense?

I mean, she's a chick, and sometimes praying to a feminine entity is more appealing than a masculine one, so I get that. But even in the Bible itself, Mary wasn't a god or even a saint. She didn't have any cool powers or anything. She just happened to be the chick that gave birth to Jesus. I don't see why she would be considered holy, but then again, there's a lot of things I just do not get about Christianity and every other religion in the world. Maybe someday I will get it. I dunno.

Long ago, I had a college prof who commented " it wasn't the finger of god that touched her!"

Wise man.
