Yes I realize that now, but back then it was very embarrassing for a guy to cry rap, its bad enough for a women, many guys do get raped but never report it, its sad but that's the reality of it.

Perhaps you are the exception - and I hope you are, but in a real fight between an average man and a "tough" woman, I'd put my wager on the angry aggressive male all day long, every day no matter what. Sorry, there's absolutely nothing you could say that could convince me otherwise.

Even the time I was shot by someone along the highway, it sort of felt like being raped, its someone taking your freedom away, and in stead of being pierced by a penis it was bullet.

It is a possibility, but there are a lot of problems with the idea of carrying a gun around with you and personally, I think what women should do is learn how to kill a man efficiently and quickly with her bare hands.

I don't actually see that the photo admits of any other interpretation.

It takes a great deal of training and regular practice to be able defend oneself without a weapon. And if your attacker is 6' 2" and 250 lbs. then your chances of success are not good. If the assailant is armed, your odds drop alarmingly. If there is more than one assailant, you're screwed.

Didn't read the whole thing leading up to this question, put I'm pretty sure from context clues that I know what was said and if that is the case, you are right, and anyone who says different is a dick.

All this defence talk is all well and good, but most rape doesn't happen like that. It will usually happen in a familiar setting with a person you thought you could trust. Young women are especially at risk of being raped by boyfriends who tell them they'll leave them if they don't have sex with them, or pull the old "if you loved me you would..." Coerced sex is rape.
Boys these days can easily get the impression from movies, TV and Porn that sex is something they're entitled to, and women exist for the sole purpose of getting them off. Who's there to tell them any different? All they're told is not to commit the most violent kinds of rape, which funnily enough, are the least common.

Side Question: Is there an ethical distinction, in your opinions, between an older man (we'll say 40+) who has sex with a young girl (we'll say 15) and an older woman who has a relationship with a young man, same ages respectively?

As a footnote, when I was 18 I was in a relationship with a 49 year old woman. While it shocked our friends and family, I don't think we received quite the same amount of attention that we would have if our genders had been reversed. Is this a sensible double standard?
