Nope structural engineers have stated that we (modern man) do not have the ability, even with all our technology, to lay out the base of the pyrimids as accurately as the Egyptians did.

Thanks for replying. It still doesn't bring me much closer to understanding your beliefs, but ta anyway.

Quote:Primative you say then why is it we can not build a pyramid or a temple like Solomen's. We can not even lay out the base of these structures as accurately as they did so who's primative.
As for your statements about the scriptures you know them no better than superstarr so why do you even try. I have no intrest in kali, unicorns or underpants gnomes.

Go on keep track of your daily horoscope and live by it see where that leads you.
I've never said the Bible is evidence that God exist, I said that God has shown me that the Bible is His true word. Xyster I'm not here to try to prove God to you or to disprove any of the lame characters you purpose.

Is there any evidence that we can't construct a pyramid? Surely with today's construction techniques, it would be fairly easy. Of course, it would be a lot slower, 'cos instead of slaves, we'd have overweight builders with prominent arse-cracks who need to have a cup of tea every ten minutes. (Actually, the pyramids weren't built by slaves, but by volunteers wanting to get a good afterlife. It just shows what people are prepared to do when they shoot up on the opiate that is religion).

As for your lack of interest in Kali, unicorn and underpants gnomes (whatever they are)... aren't we entitled to a lack of interest in Yahweh? At least if he just wore underpants he'd be interesting. He'd be relatable, if he were just some overweight guy sitting in his undies, scratching his omnipresent balls and eating crisps. Big Grin

You're confusing the God of the Bible with Budda and since Budda is dead he's not much of a god. Yes you have ever right to have no interest in the God of the Bible He's the one who has given all mankind that right.

Psychiatric treatment may be able to help that condition.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizophrenia

Quote:Depending on the individual, a person diagnosed with schizophrenia may experience hallucinations (most commonly hearing voices), delusions (often bizarre or persecutory in nature), and disorganized thinking and speech. The latter may range from loss of train of thought, to sentences only loosely connected in meaning, to incoherence known as word salad in severe cases. There is often an observable pattern of emotional difficulty, for example lack of responsiveness or motivation. Impairment in social cognition is associated with schizophrenia, as are symptoms of paranoia, and social isolation commonly occurs. In one uncommon subtype, the person may be largely mute, remain motionless in bizarre postures, or exhibit purposeless agitation; these are signs of catatonia.

Late adolescence and early adulthood are peak years for the onset of schizophrenia.

You should be tested.

You should take your act on the road your a real comedian there Min a real comedian.

I'm serious. If you are hearing voices and think fucking 'god' is talking to you then you have a problem. You are at a common age when the problem presents itself.

Looked at another way....no one could be a crazy as you without being sick.

Let's see....the Giza Pyramids are still there. Solomon's "Temple" never existed...any more than "Solomon" did. There is a plan to re-build the Colossus of Rhodes as a tourist attraction. I was on Rhodes in 2007. It does not need it. A lovely place with a lot of medieval fortifications.

The idea that people were primative during those times was brought up so I was trying to state that people of that era were not as primative as you might think them to be .

Haha, that reference to rebuilding the pyramids made me laugh.

God-talking delusions are very common in schizophrenics. They can't see who is talking to them, so they attribute the voices to god, the devil or demons. Min is right, godschild. I hope you are speaking metaphorically when you say god talks to you.

As the website that I gave you (with customary atheistic charity) says:

Quote:Late adolescence and early adulthood are peak years for the onset of schizophrenia. In 40% of men and 23% of women diagnosed with schizophrenia, the condition arose before the age of 19.[1

Really. I had a kid as one of my umpires back in Little League. Good student...ball player...nice kid...then he turned 20 and went straight down the shitter. Now he sits around and drools on his shoes. And you know what? He was no where near as crazy as you.

Seek professional guidance.

1. Please provde citation for claims dealing with assertions of structural engineers.
2. You're absolutely fucking insane if you think that modern man doesn't have the ability to effectively put a bunch of big rocks in a pile in such a way that is consistent. The reason we don't rebuild pyramids is because there's no need for such structures. We tend to construct buildings that are efficient, both in manpower and materials, not huge stone monuments set aside for the burials of Gods among men.

Check these out for some concise rebuttals to your catasrophe of an argument:

Not only could we do it, we could do a far better job than those living thousands of years ago.

I have yet to see any structure made in the Stone or Bronze Age that rivals the intricacy, precision, or attention to detail of any major structure built today.

Something like:

That concludes our segment entitled "Fundy thoughts on Buddhism".

Seriously, that was just retarded.

I don't see how it's funny. You said you hear voices as if they're right beside you telling you to do things. That's not healthy.
