The real question for me is, what are the possibilities that the universe is aware? Not in a controlling god sort of way of course, but rather a quantum level entanglement of awareness.
Wouldn't an aware universe or god still be something from nothing? Saying that some things are fine for always having been there because its in their nature is really lame.

You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

It came from the same place as our elbows and collar bones. My organism took many meters of DNA and assembled me to have elbows, collar bones, awareness and much more. Eon after eon the mechanisms of life complexified over the generations. Why? No idea. May as well ask why rust or ice forms. No one knows if it could have been otherwise. I don't. You don't. But we can all speculate.
If you feel there is some intention involved, more power to you. But you'll never convince me of it. Not based on nothing more than your hunch. (I prefer my own.)

Believing in a god only means you believe in a particular belief system, its second-hand knowledge, forget about all belief systems and think for yourself, and not being persuaded by others.

I did not suggest that there was intention. What I said was "I cannot accept a 'something from nothing' scenario in any way shape or form. Under this philosophy, I must accept the universe (and beyond) is alive."

But how does the universe being alive avoid your something from nothing issue. Where did this alive universe come from?

Your hunch doesn't get you around your something from nothing worry. So what does it matter if I can't tell you where everything came from all the way back to forever? I'm not the one who says we should have access to that information. Nor do l look to leverage the ignorance we both suffer from into an unearned conclusion. You should try to understand this. You really have nothing to stand on here.

Not really. Deism is a belief in god minus any dogma.

either god is a lair and took someone elses work or there is another god who doesn't care about anyone.

What is greater than God,
Worse than the devil,
The poor have it,
The rich need it,
And if you eat it you die?
