It's a hacker collective. Among other things they went after Scientology, that was prolly their most famous stunt. They know who each other are. Go for it guys!

I don't believe they are capable of killing a single ISIS member, but they can probably shut down their web with ease.

It should not be all that difficult to start all manner of troubles considering Anon. would be messing with crazed religious nutjobs. They are so very easy to get bent out of shape. Perhaps the news will become more entertaining in the near future. Only time will tell.

First things first they are going to be doing likely these things we should or well social networking should be doing.
1. they are going to high jack their social networking accounts stopping them from getting dumb people to join their cause.
2. we are the collective each of us is already apart of anonymous anyone can help anyone can join
3. release information and records and locations to each respective ally
Even though anonymous does illegal activities bringing up the truth they have us in mind.
Even the EFF for all its worth does not wan't us to get spied on neither does anonymous.

I've heard of these guys before. basically if you piss them off, you might as well never use the internet again. They will look for you. They will find you. And they will fuck with you. I don't know if they've ever actually killed anyone, but they're serious. They're internet savvy vigilantes.

thing is, anyone can claim to be 'anonymous.' It's not even an actual group per se, it's anyone who can hack/crack worth a fuck and remain - well, anonymous. So although this vid might be from some of the core founders, there's no way of knowing for certain.
I would love to see a concerted effort on the part of some of the better coders who identify as anonymous to rip the violent muslim fundies a new one online. Crash their servers, trash their phones, make it really seriously difficult to use social media to recruit and organize. But only time will tell.

not a chance in Hell. The gov't doesn't want to work with grey-hat or black-hat coders, they know better.
But these guys don't need funding. The really talented ones have plenty of income already. And cracking code is essentially free anyways - all it takes is time and skillz.
