There you go Tubby, prove that GC is wrong in his belief about you.
Seems like it is us who are always challenged to prove stuff. Does it work the other way? RE: Does God follow his WORD? Or is it --- do as I say and not as I do?

Extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence. RE: Does God follow his WORD? Or is it --- do as I say and not as I do?

And yet one of the selling points of your religion is that no one, supposedly, is a lost cause while they still draw breath -- that even God does not give up on the sinner while there is still a chance of genuine contrition and faith in Christ. But you presume to know better, I guess. This is what I like about you GC. Hardly a day goes by that you don't confirm my opinion that you are an arrogant blowhard and a self-righteous asshole. It's nice to have one's beliefs confirmed by actual evidence (not that you would be able to relate to the experience).

And that would involve me attempting to move factual evidence from my brain into a seperate area that I would label as "do not enter under any circumstances". At the same time, try to convince myself that the god of the bible actually does exist outside of reality and created everything with a mere thought? I've often tried to imagine how it would be to exist in that state of mind but I struggle. I also wonder whether in the right circumstances I could temporarily move into that way of thinking just for a moment - tried but failed miserably. It may be similar to when I've thought deeply about the scale of the Universe and, for what seems like milliseconds with the right atmosphere, began to comprehend it but it just as quickly went away. I should add the caveat that the scale of the Universe is several magnitudes more tangible than attempting to construct inside my head some supernatural god that created said Universe. For me at least. So you see, I'd be willing to try and imagine your god but my brain just won't allow it. I've even gone to church with my wife in the past but no, not a lot there. Sorry.
