It doesn't go anywhere here.

Indeed. It's a shame you cannot contribute anything but self-serving laughter ... but I suppose I shouldn't be disappointed.

You think Job ever trusted the guy again after what he did? If someone beats me half to death and burns my house, I don't care if he gives me a mansion afterwards, and a billion dollars in my bank account.

I'm pretty sure is Job knew what was going on and the bet god had with the devil. He pretty much wouldn't trust god and i am sure he would have cursed him or even yelled up to the sky but then god would be like oh he found out and zap.

Yes, I wonder what his response would be if Yahweh had been up front with him, instead of beating around the bush about creating the world and stuff.

This phrase makes me chuckle every time. I cannot use it with a serious face.

Double-entendre with a little alliteration to boot, it is too funny.

He would have been filled with anger, rage, hatred all in all discontent towards god.

We're supposed to believe that giving him all his property back twice over is supposed to make it better, but personally I'd find it insulting. that's just not something friends and allies are supposed to do to each other.

god should have gave him his wife and family back if i were Job i would feel insulted as well. Like our lives really do not matter that much to you that you would take it away and give me this wow god you are such a dick.
