For people that are supposed to have faith, they sure do spend an awful lot of time trying to justify their bible verses. Maybe their faith isn't as strong as they think?

Plus how were they going to store grains that hadn't been domesticated yet? I suppose they could store bamboo or something similar... not grains though.
