Love the surplice

hate the mitre
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

It depends on what the person has done and whether or not they are likely to continue engaging in such behavior.

I always thought that this quote by C.S. Lewis always summed it up well.

Verbosity is the opposite of summing up.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Maybe it's a choice when your not addicted, and you choose to try it, but when you get hooked it ceases being a choice. That is what I am talking about.

That is why God does not judge our 'morality.' Because we can not help but always sin (or so says Paul in Romans8) but whether or not we have elected the atonement Christ offers or not..

When we accept The atonement Christ offers we take off our morality and trade it for His morality. So when we are Judged we stand before God as Christ would stand before God and be judged.

We Are all sinners our sins of choice (Pride, sexuality based sins, covetousness) makes no matter These things are literally apart of us and we can not abandon them out right. As Paul puts it we are slaves to our sin, and as such there will be a point where we will follow our sin master. Now what seperates the saved from the unsaved, is the unsaved loves/makes provision/excuse for his sin, and the saved hates his sin, seperating the sin from the individual.

So no matter my sins in my life, no matter how degenerate my morality or my actions, if I honestly and genuinely accept the salvation that Jesus has offered, I'll be okay?

Yes, why? because to God All sin is equally deserving of the same fate. We In our religions and in our practice of Self-Righteousness/A Morality or self generated (apart from God) form of righteousness do we get our "grades" for our sins.

God simply identifies sin, which is why He and people who follow Him CAN Indeed separate sin from sinner.

That said there are only two, Blaspheme of the Holy Spirit (which you can not come back from) and not forgiving others as you have been forgiven (which you can amend by learning to forgive) These top His list.

What most of you understand of God and judgement is not biblically based. It is religiously based and you do not understand the difference between the two. God is indeed the embodiment of the sense of righteousness most of you seek at your core. But you can not see it, because rather than seek God first you use the things religion has done as an excuse to avoid Him

And in that you're wrong. At least in my case. I never blamed religion, any religion, for the bad that has been done in it's name. I blame certain people calling themselves religious an only act on the vile parts of what is written. That there is a fundamental contradiction in all the books allowing for bad as well as good people to draw from them is out of the question for me.

Oh sure, there's Christians who ignore half their own book as well. I'm perfectly fine with that... except I'm sure you also think I deserve eternal torture. I can feel the love radiating out from you. I'm sure your voting record also involves your love of "sexual deviants" like myself.

Again, you seem to be confused. The bible represents 2 religions not one. As the laws and precepts found in the OT are not compatible with the laws and precepts found in the New, and vise versa. An OT jew is an OT jew because he follows the laws and precepts of OT judism. Did you know there are currently NO Practicing OT Jews left?

Like wise a NT Christian is a NT Christian because he practices and follows the laws and precepts of NT Christiianity. So why doesn't a NT Christian have to follow said laws? Technically he does if like the OT jew his righteousness came from how closly he could live under the law. But, here's the thing as a NT Christian we are not judge by how we live by the law, but by how Christ lived by the law, because God is judging Christ's acts in place of ours when we put on the atonement offered by Him. We take off our sin and christ wears/wore them (on the cross/That is what that was all about) and He gives us His righteousness in return to wear before God in our final judgement.

So again, two completely different religions, two completely different ways God looks at those people under that covenant.

I personally do not have any inclination to judge if or how long you will remain in Hell, however ever I completely support whatever God decides.

Well, that's the thing isn't it??

The bible is nothing more than a tool that magnifies the intentions one has in their heart. It is no different than a Hammer. With a hammer one can build a house, or with that same hammer one can totally wreck that same house. Two totally different results, rendered by the same tool.. The bible like the hammer is netural, it only magnifies what ones heart wants.

If in your heart you seek God, the bible can be used to find Him.

If in your heart you wish to control other looking for God and or if you wish to manifest evil this netural tool will allow you to do this as well.

Why? So when you are judged, there is no doubt in your mind by your life's action, that God's judgement is indeed just.

So you didn't really read what I said. Cool.

NT followers still lack any love for people like me. Save it for someone else. The fact that you think I deserve your fantasy hell answers all my questions about how you feel.
I don't believe you. Get over it.
