My answer, Yes; because then it satisfies my definition of God, namely, in concept God is first and foremost the creator and operator of the universe i.e. ours, and man and everything with a beginning.

My answer: No. It doesn't explain what that other being is, how it came about, where it's from, what it can and cannot do and how it created out universe.

Alien would be a better description.

Can it still interact with this universe? Why make the assumption that we need to worship it?

What is a god made of? Where did it come from? What are its origins? What can it do? How can it do it? What environment does it inhabit?

No, they did not create the idea of God, but they thought on truths, facts, logic, and their then history of ideas, as well as they knew of their world, and by their reason and intelligence came to the conclusion that God exists,

You are making an unfounded assumption that there needs to be a first cause. A first cause has no explanatory power. How did the first cause come about? And if it is eternal then why cannot the universe be eternal? As I explained earlier, what is the first cause of a snow flake?

Why can't there be a cycle of causation for example? We see this the whole time in reality.

Take snowflakes for example. Complex and intricate structures. You could argue that something caused them to exist, but it's actually part of the water cycle given certain conditions. They land, melt, merge into the seas, water evaporates, gets lifted higher until it condenses out into cold air, moves into freezing conditions, comes across dust or pollen nuclei and grows into new snow flakes. Which point is the first cause in that cycle?
