I read "Neurophilosophy" ages ago, by P+P Churchland. It was fascinating to me, but I don't remember many details except thei discussion of split brain patients, which was the first time I had heard about this.

Just downloaded an audio version. In case you didn't see my reply to you in the other thread, I also downloaded Digital Fortress.
Ok, I have to warn you though, I think Digital Fortress is his debut, and it is painfully cliched at times. The main character, good lord! Kudos to him though for writing about something in almost prophetic fashion which became a really hot topic only in 2013/14

Who dat? Madalyn Murray O'Hair was the founder of American Atheists, and the organization's president from 1963 to 1986. She was known as the most hated woman in America. She ended up being tortured and murdered along with her family. I hadn't heard of her either to tell the truth.
Her murder would have been a lot more high profile, except it leaked at the same time as the OJ Simpson affair. I found this when I was researching Frank Zindler, the mythicist publisher friend of Rene Salm's book "NazarethGate" and thought it would be interesting to share this Youtube. Frank was a close friend of Madalyn apparently. It dissolves into astrology BS at the end, but is good IMO up to about the 32 min mark.

You are so right. I've gotten as far as when the guy said he would unleash his key if they didn't tell the world about their machine.
And now it's the Chinese who are really hacking into our computers. But since they don't recognize intellectual property, we can't call it stealing.
