might be a good time to buy futures on the CBoT . . .

Atheists becoming less unpopular?

Exactly how could Canada produce more CO2 than either America or China considering they have a smaller population, especially smaller than China which is at 1 billion? And why would it matter if friend or foe do that, the world needs to get off of burning fossil fuels? So are you saying oppressive states like China or North Korea are more humane when it comes to human rights than Canada? I call bullshit on this link. [/quote] It's per capita CO2 emissions. China and Vietnam -both- make use of capitalism to great effect. If those two are examples, they are a social democracy and a social republic both ruled by the historic communist party...but they are in no way communist, or even remotely fully communist countries. In context, they just employ more central planning than we do, which I think is a good thing. We could employ more central planning as well - or they could loosen their own..and none of us will imperil our socialist, democratic, republic, or capitalist cred. N. Korea...frankly, doesn't have shit worth emulating. What you call police I call an army of occupation.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Okay, I admit that I am not an expert on China:
Quote:The Communist Party of China (CPC)[a] is the founding and ruling political party of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The CPC is the sole governing party of China, although it coexists alongside eight other legal parties that comprise the United Front; these parties, however, hold no real power or independence from the CPC. It was founded in 1921, chiefly by Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao. The party grew quickly, and by 1949 the CPC had driven the nationalist Kuomintang (KMT) government from mainland China after the Chinese Civil War, thus leading to the establishment of the People's Republic of China. The CPC is currently the world's second largest political party with a membership of 88.76 million as of 2016[1] (while the Indian Bharatiya Janata Party appears to have remained the largest with a membership of 110 million as of the previous year, 2015). It also controls the world's largest armed force, the People's Liberation Army. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist_Party_of_China |
