Can you do first/middle, Louis Cypher?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

As I recall, there are only a few hundred approved names legally allowed to be used in Iceland . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

So, Zappa couldn't have named them Dweezil and Moon Unit?!? You know, I could see Frank naming a kid Lucifer. Especially after all the congressional bullshit against most forms of popular music in the eighties.

And also many Christian groups tried to make shitstorm and remove the show from the face of the Earth. Like "One Million Moms" website petition that claims "The program previews mischaracterize Satan, depart from true biblical teachings about him, and inaccurately portray the beliefs of the Christian faith." Or this article that also features video Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, that is using that TV show to condemn whole culture by saying how culture is obsessed with death. Which is such blatant hypocrisy, because even if it was "obsessed with death" and that was a bad thing then we should first close Catholic churches who frequently feature corpses of people behind the glass and tour them around the world for all kids to spend time near them. But I guess you wouldn't want to call your kid the name of God in the OT because then you would have to call him Jealous. Because this is indeed god's name in OT, Exodus 34:14 "For you shall worship no other god, because the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God." I don't know about you but so called "devil's" name Lucifer is much better more normal and humble then God's.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
Banning the name 'Lucifer' strikes my as impressively stupid. One can (presumably) name a child 'Elisha', 'Joshua' or 'Moses', all highly disreputable characters.

Here are 66 names you can’t legally name your child
Quote:Today, the New Zealands Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages released a list of names that they would not accept.
What about Damien?
Some of those names are funny (Mafia No Fear) but now I really want to meet the parents who tried to name their kid "Anal" and punch them in the face.
