should we wonder, however, why someone with his pedigree (so to speak),  ie, associates, peers, academic accomplishments, friends, self sought position as a role model in academia, achievements in academia, and hopefully appreciation that if caught, questions like this one will arise, doesn't represent the majority of the left better ??

I think that some folks have been compromised, lol.  I actually leverage this explanation, for that, to the trumpsters and the antifa alike.

Both groups feel disenfranchised.  Both groups, from their point of view, are watching their america disappear at a breathless rate.  Nothing seems to be working, or helping.  Their reactions to this state of affairs isn't surprising or even remarkable.  Any insistence that either side should better represent their side...well, they're both representing their sides - as being filled with human beings who will, when pressed, throw a motherfucking rock.

At some point, that -is- the best representation of either side. That group x will, if needs be, violently oppose whatever it is they're protesting. Put another way, who, from either side...thinks that there isn't or shouldn't be anyone in america who physically rebels against tyranny, the agents of that tyranny, and supporters of that tyranny?

Some people think that a criminal may have stolen the election...and is now attempting to turn the US into the 4th Reich. Are they wrong? If they aren't wrong..are they overreacting..or are we under-reacting? Who's the best, or better representative of "the left", in that case?
