Im not taking sides. Just commenting on my observation here, and that is that you guys are proving his point which is using this thread to pick at him rather than comment on the topic at hand.
Maybe you'd take the time to understand why I was the way I was before taking to chiding me. It's only fair. If you're too lazy to do that much, then it appears your opinion is premature and ill-informed, and I have no compunction about pointing that out.
This will be my last reply to you on this matter.

Worst thing ever.
Now, every family with a brain-dead family member are going to want to string that body along for 20 goddamned years, despite the cost to the state.

Of course I'm going to tell you off at that point. When you don't know the whole story, it's unwise to take sides.

The thing is... we're not proving Neo's point. He's proving our point by STARTING with the shitty attitude when he's corrected when he's wrong about something. The point being that he'd rather bury is head in the sand which is rather clear when his attitude to being wrong about something is so shitty.

Just like you're being strung along despite great cost to your state.
Less jokingly, ofc they will..just like everybody wants their family member to be treated for x today. Unforunately, that doesn't happen.

Guardian Article
Your supposition is a bit like saying you can cure a man's impotence by successfully setting his broken arm.
But then again this is the level you've set for yourself, deliberate mendacity in the service of your imaginary friend.

It's Wooters, when was the last time he allowed the truth to derail his lying for jesus?

How? By pointing out his lies?
If you cannot criticise somebody for lying, then how is anybody ever going to learn anything?
With all due respect... if only because you're a fantastic poster (one of my favorites on AF in fact!)... I wouldn't call him a liar. He often comes across as disingenuous but I wouldn't say he's necessarily an all out liar at all.
I tend to always refrain from calling people liars without evidence. Neo says things that are untrue B.S. all the time. Do I think he necessarily doesn't believe the shit he says? I'm not so sure. I can't really sincerely claim him to be a liar without feeling like I need evidence that he doesn't believe his own B.S. And how could I get evidence of that? Believing ridiculous shit when you're a theist is at least as likely, if not more likely, than not really believing it but lying about it. How the hell would I know what he 'really believes'?
Or maybe he doesn't believe it but he believes he believes it. Belief in Belief basically. But still... not exactly lying.

Don't deflect. "Fine, whatever" was the point you thought you had, when it wasn't.

If you personally want to stick to your guns, then so be it. I cannot have a rational discussion regarding the article if you cannot admit that you were wrong about comparing being "brain dead" to a "vegetative state".
It's hardly a nitpick when they're two completely different things.
Neo's next thread title will be titled "HELP! I SET MYSELF ON FIRE!" and then the OP is about how he started playing The Sims and forgot to level up his character's Cooking skill.

Nah, he's a liar. The title of this thread is proof enough of that. He deliberately changed "vegitative state" to "brain dead" to push his agenda. Anybody who was just posting an article for the value of said article would have left the wording alone.
