Do you have to stone a person to succeed at installing a theocracy?  I was unaware of this requirement. What;s all this gay and trans shit in the US, do you imagine? All of those are legit complaints about the government. Nothing at all to do with sharia law or the Christian equivalent. Listen, I'm an atheist to my core, but words have meaning and to claim that Christians are doing anything like the Islamic world that enforces sharia is just not accurate.

A Christian equivalent to sharia does exist in the bible. It's an actual thing. So to just list complaints you have about the government and call it Christian sharia is not accurate. Trans people not being allowed to serve in the military is a moral wrong, but NOT at all the equivalent of Sharia. Where they would be stoned to death.

It's uncomfortable, but it's not inaccurate.  If you;re willing to give theocracy a pass -as- theocracy so long as it doesn't throw a rock at someone..I think that you're going to find yourself an easy mark for theocrats. In the meanwhile, I think that if you took stock, you;d find that our way of inflicting misery is more thorough and has greater application than throwing rocks at people.

Hey, you'd have to go have that conversation with christians.  I don't get to decide what they think should be law because jesus.  I doubt that many are pro-stoning.  That doesn;t mean that they aren't ghostrwiting for christ in our legislation.  They certainly seem to think that they are.
