I think the opposite. I think the fact that there is such a  universal consensus through all cultures and countries that certain things are wrong, supports the belief that morality is objective and that we have an inherent understanding of that. No other "opinion" is so universal as it is when it comes to these black and white moral issues.

So if you wipe out the human race would evil still exist? Could a machine left behind be able to measure evil?

First you'd have to define what a god is before expecting an answer.

Nope, not objectively wrong.  But, and this will look like exactly the same thing, it just so happens you will find near unanimity of agreement that those things are wrong subjectively.  The fact that it is only near unanimity accords better with the evil being a subjective phenomenon than an objective one.

The universality of certain moral dispositions do make them objective in that sense.  But the objectivity arises in a subjective arena.  Morality is a subjective phenomenon.

I think it's largely because he used to be more reasonable and he's lost that, which is both tragic and irritating.

Because he acts as though what he is saying is steeped in profoundity and revelation, when in reality it's nothing more than sanctimonious prose shit-packed with deepities (if they even qualify as that.) And, he has the audacity to preach it to us.

Also, he regularly tells us all that we actually do believe in god, and that we're just lying when we say we don't, which I find extremely rude, and annoying.
