I would expect a holy book from god not to be such blatantly obvious shit, yeah.
Meanwhile, your god couldn't accomplish his purpose without malaria. Some god.
If there was a God, do you think by your attitude you would find it?
If there was a holy book, do you think by your attitude you can recognize that it is from God?

So if you wipe out the human race would evil still exist? Could a machine left behind be able to measure evil?

I like you, Mathilda, you always confirm the premises I use to prove God. Thank you.

First you'd have to define what a god is before expecting an answer.

But, and this will look like exactly the same thing, it just so happens you will find near unanimity of agreement that those things are wrong subjectively. The fact that it is only near unanimity accords better with the evil being a subjective phenomenon than an objective one.

The universality of certain moral dispositions do make them objective in that sense. But the objectivity arises in a subjective arena. Morality is a subjective phenomenon.

I think it's largely because he used to be more reasonable and he's lost that, which is both tragic and irritating.

If there was a god, my attitude wouldn't affect it a single iota, Mr Tone Police. If there was a magic book it's magical qualities would be indisputable. Do you understand how silly that sounds?
Do you think you'll ever find oxygen with that attitude? How would you recognize oxygen with that attitude?

Wait, so raping children is just subjectively wrong? The hell?? There is no possible justification for raping children ever. That's objectively wrong. Don't defend crap like that just to give your point more weight

Answer to the above question I posed was 'No' both times by the way.
your premises are faulty.

Because he acts as though what he is saying is steeped in profoundity and revelation, when in reality it's nothing more than sanctimonious prose shit-packed with deepities (if they even qualify as that.) And, he has the audacity to preach it to us.
Also, he regularly tells us all that we actually do believe in god, and that we're just lying when we say we don't, which I find extremely rude, and annoying.
