Is it terrible that my countries media tends to pay more attention to your countries tragedies then yours does . Maybe it's because such incidence are rare here .

Today's latest shooting was only 130 miles from me - and it was barely featured on the local evening news. A live report from the scene, then on to today's weather. It probably won't even be in the news tomorrow (because there will be another shooting to move on to).

Maybe we should just stop bothering to put our flags at full mast. If we're going to keep putting them down at half mast every time a national tragedy like this happens, and they just keep happening, there would appear to be no point at putting them at full mast.
Seriously, this is the fourth mass shooting in the past 30 days. And, of course, the government won't even try to remedy this situation because it's becoming clearer that the Republican Party has a vested interest in this shit happening.
