RE: 5 suspicious packages found in the last 24 hours
GOOD, MSNBC REPORTING a man in his 50s has been detained in FLA in connection with this weeks bomb threats.

Hopefully this is the correct person.

Indeed ineptitude  seems likely
How did you come to that conclusion?
Are you a bomb maker? Have much, if indeed ANY experience do have you with bomb makers? Have you ever even blown something up?
I grew up in an era where you could go to the local hardware store and buy cases of dynamite, blasting caps and fuse.
And - my dad did. We were clearing a swampy area to build our house - and blasting is the quickest way to get rid of stumps. So yes - as a 12 year old - I was lighting off dynamite for legitimate reasons. The recreational uses were amazing as well. The 4th of July in this neighborhood was loud.
I also have a friend who is licensed for demolition work - so I have some exposure to AMFO, det cord and electronic fired blasting caps.
Plus - I did pretty well in high school physics and chemistry --- which is all the education someone really needs to make bombs.
It' s not rocket science

20 years per bomb should be about the right sentence..

Oh i know how to make one  and i have used them when i was younger (i grew up in the far north were explosives have their use) and my conclusion is based on the fact it looks like he was trying to build a real bomb (the fact he put shrapnel in it particularly ) but messed up . Which leads me to the greater conclusion he's not used to doing this .

I come to a different conclusion --

If he made one or two bombs - and mailed them - and they didn't go off, I would likely concur with your assessment.

But ten???

A guy doesn't go to that much effort - without testing his workmanship. He would have blown a couple of test bombs - to ensure they would work.

One of them would likely have gone off. It' s possible he' s a total dimwit - but even dimwits get lucky occasionally. The simple fact he didn't blow himself up would prove that. Amateurs frequently do.

You could be right.

I' d bet against though. I suspect these were designed to LOOK like bombs, but not actually BE bombs.

I came to a different conclusion, that they were bombs targeted against critics of Trump that were intended to kill but didn't.

Do you have any rational to come to that conclusion, or is it just the one you prefer?

Color me surprised he's a Trump supporter.

Right Wingers will be like "FALSE FLAG! HE WAS FRAMED!"

So next time an illegal immigrant kills someone, I'm going to shout the same thing.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

Suspect bomber's van showing photos of Trump support stickers and CNN Sucks stickers.

But that's okay. We won't assume anything just yet. After all - this could very well be some DNC agenda being pushed. Amirite? Dodgy

Cesar Sayoc is the name of the man that has been identified as the individual arrested.

Meanwhile, teleprompter Trump, while failing to admit his own hateful rhetoric and encouragement of violence towards journalists and democrats, comments that this sort of thing isn't acceptable. We'll see how Twitter Trump reacts as news unfolds after accusing CNN of creating "fake news" at 3am.
