Actually, they weren't on the floor. They were sitting just beneath a quote of my response to you and therefore, can only be taken as a response to me. If you meant "you" in general, you could have put that somewhere other than in the typical place you would place a response. At any rate, it's cleared up enough.
Back to bashing. If you believe something is ridiculous, wouldn't it make more sense to bash that than to bash something you don't think is ridiculous? You make it sound like it makes no sense to bash things you don't like. Kind of silly, if you think about it.

Implying that our plans for the future of our country involve the petty, failing christian clique of the Europeans. They can very well keep their union. The first one to say "fuck you" to them will be Germany, for they are probably fed up with feeding the EU with their hard-earned money, all while being branded as the Satan of Europe at the same time.

Well, your bashing also generally occurs only amongst your own. Most of the adherents of the religions you're bashing are generally ignorant of your views on their religion, or they simply do not care.

England, but I have a love affair with the USA. I toured the Southern states last year and have a long term plan to hit the North one day. Road trip, Boston to Seattle.
If you ever do make that trip, you might consider hitting Portland as well, 150 miles or so south of Seattle. I can point out plenty of must-see sights near both - but you'd have to give yourself some time to see them. Hell, if I can, I'd act as tour guide.

Two points here, km.
One, that ignorance is not harmless. It is easy to push a button to send a nuclear device across an ocean to destroy many things of which you will necessarily remain ignorant thereafter.
Two, the argument for bashing does devolve upon a majority being necessary for castigation to be meet and fit. It is usually a small number of religious zealots who cause the rest of the "ignorant" herd to do things, or who do the most heinous things to stand out from said herd for their god.
