What are your answers?
RE: What are your answers?
Here is a little Op-Ed piece to help km along in understanding the nature of the issue:

Here's a short list of some of the anti-evolution legislation promulgated in recent times:

Here is an overview of the lengths anti-abortionists are willing to go:

Here is a bit of help understanding why, in a country in which church and state divisions have been generally maintained as integral to the country's welfare, the actions of recent religious politicians might be viewed as a violation of the law:

What's the deal, we feeding your tribe weapons? (No ones going to cut off the spigot democrat or republican, so you don't have to argue for one sides ridiculous policies, especially in light of your naivety concerning our political landscape. We'll be exporters of weapons regardless)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

You appear to be either extremely stupid or extremely disingenuous. Opposition to abortion has no foundation in religion? Get fucking real. Go and do a bit of reading on the subject, you're a loon.

Well, you certainly implied that you are not an atheist and that is being generous.

Based on what exactly?

It certainly has none. In truth, there are only very very few countries where abortion is completely abolished.
It could easily have philosophical basis, more than a religious one. There is no holy book on earth that specifically mentions abortion, so any forms of religious objections actually constitute philosophical arguments.
Nothing more.
Similarly, people who are for abortion, also base this on a philosophical argument, one that of choice, and not of maternal life, or any other physical reasons to have an abortion.

And?
Quote:Here's a short list of some of the anti-evolution legislation promulgated in recent times
And where did that actually take them?

That is for the courts to decide. IF the courts find the man guilty of something, he is guilty.
Like in my country. Any party that has gone too far, has been closed by the supreme court. This generally goes against the notion of freedom of speech in your country. In my country, legal action is actually taken to preserve secularism.

Some, to the point of bashing, and that's fine by me. But bashing something that you believe to be rubbish, is really nonsense..

I think you are being deliberately obtuse here. The force of your argument-or line of questioning, if you prefer, seems to be that since the US has thus far remained a place of freedom, atheists should not question the freedoms it maintains, but should rather wait quietly until those freedoms are removed before they have the right to begin pointing and saying, "If only we had noticed and reacted."

Where are you from?

You said "you," meaning you were referring to me. Where was I bashing anything in this thread?

Oh, and bashing something you believe to be rubbish is, well, logical. Would you prefer we bash things that we love? I mean, seriously.

He says an Islamic country. That would explain his ignorance.

Tells you something about which part of Turkish political spectrum he is from to hear him bleat bitterly like a sheep fucked up the ass about the legally enforced secularism that made turkey the only traditionally Islamic country to attain something like cultural modernity.
