Actually what I was saying had nothing to do with OLB. It had everything to do with my disappointment in my assessment of you.

Sorry it went down like this, OLB. I would have actually enjoyed following a detailed discussion about the enforcement of immigration law, because it is a subject on which I’m not well-versed. Unfortunately, outrage politics beat you out.

Fun fact, enforcing immigration law is made easier by open borders.
Mostly because it doesn’t drive the very same people you’d need to gather useful intel into shadow class status where they fear la migra more than the criminals do.
This is both why and -how- Obama became the deporter in chief. It flat out works better.
OTOH, chasing down every stray brown is not only a massive waste of resources and potential, motivated by nothing other than white fright, it stresses our organizational ability to both find and adequately store all the unpersons.
None of this bs on the border just happened. We made it happen... and we knew that it would happen if we went down this road. That was the point, the feature, not a bug.

If he wanted an open and honest discussion, then perhaps he should've left out his faux outrage over 'open borders' at the door? Just a thought. You know, instead of letting him frame the conversation in such a way that frames those who disagree with him in a certain way.
It seems to me he never wanted a discussion over immigration, just another chance to attack those who he disagrees with. This has emerged as a pattern with him.

No. A couple people from TTA who had issues with OLB brought that here and painted their picture of OLB from the start. The pattern is more with those who jump in any time he posts and have a fit. If he posted that the sky is blue this little posse would argue it till their typing fingers bled.

No, OLB started it with his opening framing. Just as he has done in the past. It's no different than a Christian saying: "If you don't believe in God, then there's no reason to be moral."
