Court exist to pass sentences. But the idea that they are the only ones capable of determining guilt is absurd But they are the only ones capable of doling out criminal justice. If, say, Chauvin was accused of killing his wife’s paramour and throwing the body in a wood chipper, and there weren’t multiple eyewitnesses who saw it (not to mention multiple videos of the incident), you might have a point about the court of public opinion. But we do have witnesses and multiple videos of the incident and the minutes prior and it paints a very clear picture of his guilt.
And, just for reference, here’s a video from Shaun deconstructing the case of Trayvon Martin (with a specific focus on George Zimmerman’s known actions) and, in the end, contrasting that with the killing of LaVoy Finicum, and it all seems very relevant to Biker’s posturing.

You have an opinion piece video - and you believe that is truth - rather thsn the 12 men and women who saw all of the state and defense evidence and voted for acquital.
The mob is always going to say the cop is guilty and there is no such thing as justifiable defense.
As long as it is popular.
And I am always going to say "I don't know" - because I did not see the admissible evidence.

Justifiable defense is a thing, but, frankly, what I’ve seen in the videos of Floyd’s death ain’t it. This could just be me, but if someone’s trying to kill you and the only thing you can do to save yourself is kill them, you take them out as quickly as possible.
What happened with George Floyd, according to all available records, from the prosecutor’s statement of probable cause to the videos of his death to the autopsy reports... it wasn’t that. It was a case of police brutality that started with a counterfeit $20 bill and ended with a death that, honestly, would have made this seem downright humane:
(Note: I’m not saying Chauvin is a Nazi like Ed Norton’s character, just comparing and contrasting two undeniably brutal deaths.)
Killing in self-defense is justifiable. Torture like this never is.

I would avoid referring to the martin case's jury if I were hoping to deflect concerns that there might be intentional and systemic bias in us courts.
That's just me, lol.

Would you prefer that I use emojis to indicate a smile and a lighthearted tone?

Anyone who responds to a thoughtful post about a biased justice system by focusing on the ‘lol’ has lost the argument.

You may think it's a thoughtful post.

You talk about my bias..which is against police brutality and the abuse of our system by it's own agents, and the abuse of our own people by that system through it's agents..as though it were something that would shame me.
It doesn't. I'm proud to be an american. I hope that one day you too will find your inner american.
