9:29 seconds. That is all.

I thought the prosecutor did a great job in his opening argument. I thought the defense lawyer sucked.

Tool, Lateralus, 9.24. Spends the last four minutes going nuts compared to the beginning.

That crazy outro is off by about minute. Maybe one song 5:38 long to represent the time he spent conscious and crying out (and eventually flopping and gasping for breath) and the 3:51 for the time he was unconscious and still in the choke hold. TO THE ARCHIVES!
On second thought, maybe instead of one 5:38 song, have one 4:45 song to represent the time he spent crying out and a 53-second song to represent the convulsive phase (and I have just the Naked City song to do it.) That should be easier than finding one 9:29 song that covers everything.
Edit:
Track listing for each stage:
1) The kneeling and begging for help stage: Talking Heads- Crosseyed and Painless
2) The flailing seizure stage: Naked City - Bonehead
3) The Non-Responsive Stage: Todd Rundgren - It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference.
I think later today, I'll rewrite the version I wrote with a single Modest Mouse song to represent the now-known facts.

I heard reports on cable news this morning that George died at the hospital and not on the street.
This is missleading. He had no pulse on the street, while the EMTs and ER may have been trying to revive him in that time, the offical time of death isn't always noted as the exact time of death. I watched my mother die and I can tell you it was not until later that the head nurses called the official time.
I am quite sure he was dead on the street. But regardless, the ME report noted that it was homicide and the police actions greatly contributed to George's death in any case.
Here is what I don't get.
Right now the witness is a kid, so the cameras in the court are not showing their face, and I agree. But, when they were showing still clips of video, because she was a witness that day, they did not cover their face in the video, so doesn't that negate not showing her face in the trial?

One huge thing that has always stuck out for me in the video, that negates any defense for Chauvin, or his defense lawyers in trying to claim distraction from the bystanders or fear, is the fact Chauvin had his hand in his pocket a majority of the time. He looked casual, not concerned for either George's health or the crowd shouting at him.
I look at this video and what I see is a arrogent police officer thinking, "I am a police officer. I can do what I want."

Now that it looks like the timeline for just how long George Floyd was strangled needs to be revised, here's a little scenario for everyone to bear in mind: There are three songs in this post, and I want you to imagine that for every second these three songs play, you have a man's knee pushing your neck to the ground.
First, imagine this song:
At this point, you're losing your ability to breathe. You keep telling the man who's doing this, and he simply tells you to stop talking. Best case scenario is that he believes that if you can talk, you can breathe. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Eventually, you realise that you're not getting out of this alive. You call out for your family, and they cannot come. At some point, people have started to crowd around. At least one person is begging the man to get his knee off you, arguing that surely you're no longer going to resist. He refuses.
Then, when that song is over, this song represents the second stage:
At this point, you're flailing and convulsing. These seizures represent the last throes of your nervous system. At the end of this, you've lost consciousness, and you never regain it. The crowd is concerned about your well-being, but it turns out the guy whose knee is still on your neck is most concerned about whether his own knee was scratched. And it's still on your neck, and it won't get up until the end of the next phase:
At the beginning of this phase, you've lost consciousness. You may very well be dead. At some point, they actually try to take your pulse. They don't find one. But they're not going to get up until the song ends.
And why did this happen? Because you paid for a pack of smokes with a counterfeit $20 bill.

I was watching CNN and van jones said it was a modern day lnyching, but isn't that taking it a little far? Sure the officer is guilty of manslaughter and 2nd degree murder but he didn't plan on kllling him and didn't know he was killing him, still wrong and brutal and he deserves to be in prison. But technically we don't know if it was racial either, we do know he's gotta go away though. Is it a modern day lynching or is that a little ridiculous to compare it to white ppl hanging blacks over anything?
