Why men shouldn't write advice columns
|
Of the men I've ever 'been with'... only one has talked much to me (and he talked less). But then... I talk more than both the women I've been with too (though the one I have now talks nearly as much as I)
WHY DOES ANYONE CARE? On second thought... don't answer that. Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
I value silence. My boyfriend is a chatty, and it bothers the shit outta me. If I have something to say, I'll say it. Otherwise, shuddup and leave me to my thoughts.
That will never hold up in court...

It says: "typically, women are socialized to be more comfortable talking about their feelings, while men are socialized to be dominant and take charge." Women talk about their feelings, and men take charge. That's almost exactly what I said. Now, if you plan on doing anymore research to prove my point, let me know.(November 25, 2011 at 2:11 am)AthiestAtheist Wrote: Actually, this is an article about why only men should give advice. It shows that we only give advice in areas we know what we're talking about, as opposed to a woman, who might drive you off a cliff as long as you feel better on the way there.
"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."

So, only men should give advice when you just said that they are not suited to talk about feelings? What an odd bunch of pigeonholers you all are.
You see the penis acts as a dowsing rod for intelligent thought. I think it has mostly to do with the fact that women's have the smaller brain, it has been proven by Kazakh scientists. Ahh "pigeonhole" my favorite sexual position.

Then explain me: I (unfortunately) have a penis, but I'm as dumb as they come. Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam

I wouldn't even try to begin imagining a solution to the conundrum that is Sae. Here is some dubstep:

Clearly I disagree that women are only qualified to talk about feelings. You must have an odd definition of advice if you think being suited to talk about farts and oil changes is the only prerequisite for giving advice. (See, I can use gender stereotypes too.) |
