I am really interested, what did you think about sunsets when you were a flat Earther? Why does the sun look like it is sinking into the ground instead of just going very far away and becoming smaller as the flat Earth model suggests?
I thought it was just a perspective effect. The same reason ships disappear bottom first.

Correct. So, what is the point of trying to educate people who have made it clear than any and all evidence you provide will be rejected?
Not 'refuted', mind you - rejected.

Like I've said, maybe many Flat-Earthers are simply unaware of the dip of the horizon. Maybe they are simply unaware of that you can easily measure it from an airplane using any modern mobile phone (with a camera and a gyroscope), like I was. Maybe they honestly don't understand the "You can see the sunset twice if you watch it sitting down and then quickly stand up." argument, like I did not.

How comes people in Melbourne, Capetown and Santiago can see the same constellations of stars at night?

Sorry, I don't understand what you are asking. What is so hard to understand?

I don't understand why would you expect the constellations one sees from three points at about the same latitude (far south) would be different. They do not see them at the same time: when one point sees the stars (night), the other two points see the sun (day). But, when there is night in each of them, each of them is looking at the same outer space that is seen from the south of the Earth.

Is the flat earth spinning?

Ah, you are using that as an argument against the Flat Earth Theory? Well, according to the Flat Earth Theory, the stars are circling around the Polaris, making an almost-full-circle (around 359 degrees) every day.

Nobody noticed that the Sun and Moon have to be orbitally opposites? If that's correct we never see the Moon in the day time.
