I accept the righteous offering of the virgin maiden to the volcano god and await my place at the celestial luau. Repent, Drich. Forsake your false idle and there may yet be a place for you.

So, righteousness demands that someone die for the sins committed against god. Is this standard of righteousness something that god created, or is it wholly seperate from him?

Scapegoating asshole logic 101. Why don't you go beat a fucking animal to death to draw down the magic and avoid being beaten yourself?
No, they don't cancel out, assuming this were the case the situation only worsens. Now not only has justice not been carried out, a miscarriage of justice has been carried out.
So what's the score, God-2 / Justice-0 ? Is this halftime or endgame...because I'd really like the think that justice has a shot at a 4th quarter rally or something...

My own authority, my own society, where all claims of justice originate. There is no other authority, there are no other standards. Your criticism is empty.
Would you like to make the argument for scapegoating, or do we agree?

So because "you said so?"
You are interjecting your personal beliefs into the established beliefs of others (based on the authority you have given to yourself) and you believe my 'critcism' to be empty?

The crucifixion was necessary because every novel needs a bang-up ending.

Well, if you're referring to the statement before the question, I got that from this post by you(read the bold).
Drich Wrote:Yes Jesus HAD to die. Why? Because we are told God established the standard that any and all sin deserves Death. Righteousness demands that someone die for the sins committed against God. Jesus was that death for those who accept the offering made on their behalf.
So, can you answer my question?
