I appreciate your honesty, but come on...did you need god for that?

Yes.

Nothing in my life outside of God would have given me the 'catylist' i needed to force the Change needed to off set years of being intimidated, humiliated, and out right beaten. (daily)

Meaning that I won't know what to do or say and then just know something beyond my scope, that fits the situation or problem perfectly.

Then their are dreams/visions, and of course the angel/messenger story you guys seem to love so much. But I would say the great majority comes from simply being connected with a strong fellowship of believers and allowing God to work or give direction from with in the group.

What is your criteria for determining natural phenomena from that of divine origin?

The message has to be consistant with the bible.

I have no clue of what a catylist is, but I hope you didn't express your racist thoughts back then towards your black bullies. It would have given them a reason to beat you up.

A catalyst is something that speeds up a given reaction.
For example, all Diesel powered cars are required to have a catalyst which breaks up the harmful particles that these engines throw out, in an attempt to keep the air clean(er).... or speeds up the process of breaking htem up enough for them to exit out the tail pipe in a non-toxic form.

Drich required the help of his imaginary friend to change himself. Some people require it... let them be.... pay them no mind.

Oh! Oh! God told me to incite violence against Muslims and start another crusade!

Not that I'd do it...

I shot this down before you could get it out and you did anyway, the first chance you got.

Again Unless one is an OT Jew the passage in Deut: 13 does not apply. that is what is meant by being consistant with the bible.

The catalyst or DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) contains about 30% urea or (most commonly "cow pee") that needs to be injected in a 're-gen or burn cycle. this is where baffels in the exhaust system close to capture as much heat as possiable to break down the The toxic Nitrogen oxcides into none toxic componets. My hate in this illustration is the is the toxic Nitrogen Oxcides in the diesel exhaust. God or rather My love for Him is the catalyst that breaks down the hate i had.

Okay, Is suppose this particular law isn't one of the universal ones. Had you posted this passage

earlier, it would have cleared things up. Nonetheless, it is consistent with Yahweh's morals (worship me or die and burn forever). Which is why Jesus kind of skipped over some OT laws. But...how did we get on this subject again?

I don't pay Rhythm much attention. He's an idiot.

It's nice to see Christians and atheists having meaningful discussion though.

I realise that you are stretching the analogy beyond tolerance, but are you sure you really want to equate your "love" for your god as cow piss? Let me guess - it shines out like a shaft of gold, when all around is dark.
[/Monty_Python reference]

I would make a "cow piss - bull shit" gag but instead I'll just state it and ruin that punchline for everyone else.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I must revert to christianity. Tyrants throughout the ages invoked the divine right of kings. These bastards had court jesters and all we get is Vinny.
