Interesting reaction seems Violet is right. Why would a biologist have any interest in the social construction of gender? I'm sure they are much more interested in the biology of sex.

I tell you what Zen, if I was desperate, and I mean, really desperate, and I ordered a prostitute from the brothel, and got myself worked up in the interim, and then someone shows up high on drugs then I tell you what - I'd be fucking pissed off, wouldn't you?!
So you know, maybe some people have it coming to them. I'm not excusing violence mind you, I've been assaulted before, three times by a single colleague once, no disciplinary action taken, where the fuck were my rights? I feel sorry for the guy's wife mind you, but hey that's another matter. Do me a favour Zen, go and practise falling down.

Zen, no it doesn't, there's no justification for beating up women. Here are instructions for you in order to correctly comprehend my previous reply to you:
1. Read it from start to finish.
2. Repeat.
3. Keep repeating until you think you understand.
4. Repeat once more.
5. Check with your wife if you understand or not before making a comment.
