Hmmmmm........ you may have to get a bit of a spanking for this.

I don't really use recreational drugs. I mean, I've tried weed twice, didn't really feel much from it so I don't really want to waste money on it anymore. I drink some vodka from time to time, but even that's rare.
As for prescriptions, there's my estrogen and spironolactone and that's pretty much it. When I was a teenager, I had a doctor who had me on 8 or so psych med prescriptions at once and it really messed me up. Because of that, I get really nervous over the idea of being on prescription medications.

Heh. Actually, my being an athest kinda had some amount of conflict with my being trans, myself.
I started identifying as atheist when I was 20, but I only came out as trans when I was 29. When I became an atheist, I had to become more critical and try to stop believing things without good evidence. It kinda caused conflict with the trans feelings I had, though. I would think "What evidence do I have that I'd be better off as a girl?" and couldn't really find anything. I couldn't really get past that until I reached a point where I was suicidal anyway and transitioning was an attempt to give myself something to keep me alive; I never expected it to be this effective.
But I know a lot of transsexuals who identify all over the religious spectrum. When I first came out, the two people who were kinda my mentors were deeply religious and I know another girl in Chicago who is in seminary and she's trans (and her name happens to be Violet as well).

Well, Miss TaraJo, actually I did not know, until you posted this line here. I generally take people at face-value (if they say and act as a woman, and ask to be treated that way [whatever that is] that is what I do). Acquaintances and friendships are much smoother if one doesn't pry into someone's personal life and only treats people as people (not based on what their outward appearance is).
I really do not care much what other people's sexual predilections are, who they want to date (same, opposite, both at the same time, numerous), or what gender they identify as or wish to be.
I care far more about such things as whether a person is honest, forthright, courteous, &c. I don't feel it is my place to pry into someone's private life about gender, unless they initiate the conversation about it.
As long as you are happy with it, that is all that matters.
As for Violet, well, Violet is just Violet.

None, and don't plan to unless it's a specific set-aside event with someone I trust.
Neither of my medications are prescription (or rather, prescription is not required). http://www.inhousepharmacy.biz/p-492-spi...ctone.aspx http://www.inhousepharmacy.biz/p-166-estrofem-2mg.aspx
Spiro I alternate 200mg daily and 300mg daily, taken at 10AM and 10PM... Estro I take 4mg (2 tablets) daily at the same time as I take spiro. Typical schedule looks like this: 10AM take 100mg spiro, 2mg estro; 10PM take 100mg (200mg) spiro, 2mg estro

I'm a deist because the universe feels scripted to me, and seems to hate me
My 'spirituality' is in the sense of 'the human spirit'. A stimulated and animated filled full of cheer person is highly spiritual, whereas an anesthetized and lethargic person made empty with despondency is a person who is spiritually dead.
Further, I'm willing to entertain the thought of magics, deities, and superstitions... but I will wait until I see these things work before I wholly believe in their ability to affect lives, specifically the lives of those I care about

Many of the cool people in this world are named 'Violet' or have purple hair. I've decided that we must band together to face the coming darkness!

Try injections. I take one shot of estrogen every other week and have a lot less pills to mess with. Injections seem to have a stronger impact, too.

I don't believe I need them. If 4mg of estrogen keeps me happy and looking pretty and eating... there's not much point.
Now... an orchiectomy? That sounds amazing to me.
