Doesn't that negate any support of Islam derived from the Torah or the Old Testament? It seems to me you enjoy shooting your own cause in the foot...The Quran is not derived You misread or misunderstood what I wrote. I said, the SUPPORT (or prediction) you claim for/of Islam from the Old Testament and the Torah is negated by the fact you admit the Bible cannot be trusted. Your purpose of this thread is to assert that the Bible predicts the revelation shown to Mohamed, but you started another thread stating the Bible is a load of hogwash. You can't have it both ways, so which way is it? Does the Bible predict and support Islam? Or is the Bible an untrustworthy book? If the Bible predicts and supports Islam, yet is untrustworthy, how does that support Islam at all? Thus my conclusion that you're shooting your own cause in the foot. If resides out of space-time, then what time is he using? If he is too complex to understand, then that requires faith. 1: He resides at the North Pole. Why do you thing that both Santa and God are old guys with long white beards. Besides, unless he was God, how could Santa deliver all that stuff in only one night? 2:I imagine he's using Greenwich Mean Time. What else would he use? 3:Hell, I'm to complex to understand! Does that mean my wife requires faith?

Thus my conclusion that you're shooting your own cause in the foot. No, I can have it both ways here is how! Proving that the Bible is false is straight forward, if it has even a single error then it cannot come 100% from God. If the Bible (or any book) predicts precisely Mohamed or any future event, these predictions cannot be a coincidence it must come from God for example: Nostradamus wrote Century 2, Quatrain #28 "The last son of the man with the prophet's name will bring Diana to her day of rest. If you accept that this refers to Dodi ElFayed and Diana death, this statement must come from God to predict such event, even if Nostradamus himself was a liar/mistaken in many occasions. I predict that somewhere on this planet, Earth, at sometime today, May 11, 2013, someone named Bob is going to be in a car crash. It won't even make the evening news. See, I'm ordained by god, too! So in addition to other problems (such as the prophet's name being very common and the dangling participle 'repos'), you've altered the text to make it fit the facts. Quote:Le penultiesme du surnom du Prophete, (ETA: A website I was reading pointed out that a reasonable interpretation of the reference to 'du surnom du Prophete' would be to Nostradamus' own surname, seeing as these are his prophesies. Is Mohammed actually the prophet of Islam's surname?) |
