Since ancient times there has been some development from the day to day god burning bushes in the backyard and giving clear however abhorrent and non-sensical messages and commands like slaughter your own son, to a much more cloaked version that leaves absolutely no CO2 footprint and somehow communicates silently in the heads of believers. I wonder, is cloaking a divine evolution thing?

1. Existence is a matter of belief but I don't see how it can't be percieved. Are we talking about the reality of existence or the consciousness of existence?

Existence has nothing to do with belief - Existence is what it is regardless of what we believe.

Quote:1a. "Cloaking " would be a lack of understanding or perception in things and I would not personally attribute that to an attribute of God, but our lack of understanding of God.The divine doesn't evolve, but our understanding of it does.

Cloaking was never intended to be an attribute of god, it was a statement on the absolute lack of influence on the observable universe by God or any other supernatural force.

2. Through the holy spirit or the occasional divine intervention if you subscribe to that.

Can you back up that claim or are you just in the habit of blindly asserting things?

It's the closest thing to what purple rabbits looks like in the 26th dimension. If you really expect me to squeeze the information of my 26 dimensions into 2 dimensions without loss or distortion, you have really no idea what you are talking about. So don't be surprised I look like an ugly furless cat smoking a cigar. That's just your distorted view on reality. From my pov you all look like marshmallows that have been in the fire for far too long, not a pretty sight, but you haven't heard me complaining about that so far.

I'm evaluating the truth of the sentence "god exists" here, for the case of a god which allegedly has no attributes other than existence or being. We're not talking about existence as a general concept. I cannot perceive the existence of god(s). And to me it really seems impossible to perceive a god I that has no perceivable attributes, no shape, no voice, no color, no substance, no specific deeds etc. that are identifiable as his attributes.

I presented to you the view of a god without perceivable attributes, because that is what some believers claim. So I did not say that the cloaking is a lack of understanding of human or an active deed of the involved god. In the view I presented it is a fundamental impossibility to perceive anything about the nature of god.

There are two possibilites here:
1) The holy spirit exists independent of god and can perceive attributes of god . In that case the fundamental impossibility to perceive attributes of god is violated, since the holy spirit can perceive attributes of god.
2) The holy spirit has no independent existence of god. In that case god and the holy spirit are one and the same and perceiving the holy spirit is perceiving an aspect of god. A perceived aspect of god is a perceived attribute of god and contradict the premise about the cloaked god.

3. Who's to asy he hasn't, or dimensions for that matter.
I certainly didn't say so. To say so however implies knowledge of attributes of god.

4. There's a phrase that comes to mind, "saves the best for last". Perhaps delayed exposition has the same rewards in another state of existance as in this state.
So you mean we just have to wait for an indefinite time for an imperceivable god that has some grand finale. How does a grand finale explain cloaking?

Well, always prepared to help unveil things here.
