The motherfucker got what he deserved.
They should have buried him in a garbage dump with a pig's head in his arms.
Fuck him.
BTW, Bush didn't do that.

I think their holdings gained through Haliburton should be seized and that they should be tried for intentional misinformation contributing to a war. I don't think we should be over there period end of story unless someones shooting at us, and I also think all of our own nuclear programs should be shut down. Defense should be just that. The UN needs to do its fucking job, not us.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong. Care to tell me what the shrub has to do with killing Osama Bin Laden? He could have caught him back in 2002, easily, but he was more determined to invade Iraq (whether we had a good reason or not). Seems to me the Bush presidency only extended Bin Ladens' life.

Lemmie get my tinfoil conspiracy hat on for a minute... Who won nam? And Afghanistan come to that? The people who make the bombs beans and bandages mostly. When we talk about how much a war cost, financially, where do you think that money gets spent? A big chunk of it goes to military suppliers who get very, very rich. Do you know what the mark up is on an f16? It's a lot. An awful lot. Fortunately there is no way businessmen who make that kind of money can affect political decision making. Because if there was someone might suspect that America was borrowing shit loads of money from China and using it to prosecute whatever war it could get public support for in order that the makers of military goods and suppliers could get very rich, a proportion of which ends up in the hands of the people who created the demand by prosecuting the wars. Crazy thought I know. It's not like politicians like Bush or dick Cheney have anything to do with companies like Halliburton. Or that Halliburton would get billion dollar contracts from the government and the dept of defense without any competitive tendering. And the several million dollars paid to Republican campaigns by Halliburton IN NO WAY had anything to do with any of that. Nor would the millions of dollars that Bush and Cheney stood to personally profit from the military contracts that the wars delivered to haliburton have influenced them in any way. Everything is fine America! Look! Miley Cyrus has got her arse out and there's cheap stuff in Wal Mart. Look at the shiny things! Sorry. My cynicism is showing. Carry on

I wish I could give Jacobs' post the multitude of kudos it deserves.
He's right on the spot. Companies like Kimberly Clark and Haliburton spend tremendous amounts of money lobbying congress; do you actually think they're going to spend all that money if they don't expect something in return? They give money to the campaigns of politicians they can easily manipulate and then they manipulate them into making decisions that benefit the company. And the politicians go along with it because if they don't, the company will just turn around and give their money to someone else, instead, and that someone else will probably win the eletion. Companies do what benefits themselves, even if it harms everyone else. I don't think of them as evil as much as I think of them as massivly irresponsible, not to mention a lot of the politicians who go along with them are painfully naive.
