How would a putative God prove himself ?
I'm thinking he would need to differentiate himself from a possible alien being of similar nature to Q from Star Trek.
(so why not worship a "Q" as a God? well for starters, there are more than one of them, so there is that)

Even if it was proven, I wouldn't worship god. Kinda like how if hitler came back from the dead I wouldn't worship him either.

I don't like the idea of worshiping anything, but if eternal torture was actually known to be a thing that could happen if I didn't I'd probably throw away my dignity and worship the all powerful jerk.

Thing is, I wouldn't trust a dick who was forcing me to worship him anyway. And he would know I was insincere, probably. So I'd just stand up for myself and let him do his worst. Not like there's anything I can about his decisions anyhow.

Like others it'd depend for me if there was a hell or not, if so then I don't fancy eternal torture, so yes.
If not then i'd just carry on as is now and think it was a lousy creator, but I wouldn't go out of my way to piss this god off, I mean this thing did create the Universe so it could still fuck me over in a second if it's feelings get hurt.
