Bloody poll: would you worship a God whose existence was certain?
|
No. It certainly would not be the loving, caring god of the bible.
And it would more than likely be a sort of first cause god that probably does not care about our existence any way, so no. I still would not care, my life would go on as normal.
There is a god and this is the best that it can do? Hell no, I would not worship it.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

There are some things we don't want to know. Important things. -- Ned Flanders Once something's been approved by the government, it's no longer immoral. -- The Rev Lovejoy RE: Bloody poll: would you worship a God whose existence was certain?

No way. I'd worship no God that chose things to be this way. Or that is described in the evil books.
Err, I probably already wrote that earlier. Never mind Feel free to send me a private message.

Who wants to worship this being? I don't speed because of the police. so if some dude was hanging in the sky ready to fry my ass for stealing? yeah I wouldn't steal a piece of gum. if he said praise him or get a bolt up my ass? well I see people praising leaders all over the world and they aint gods. I guess I would and hope the alien leaves soon. RE: Bloody poll: would you worship a God whose existence was certain?

Who wants to worship this being? If that one is the only choice I would probably kiss his ass in fear but certainly not in admiration or - god forbid - in love. There are certainly more appealing deities than that one. Btw, there's a book by David Kerr called prayer. It's a horror thriller with the premise that god is really the literal god of the bible and acts accordingly. Kerr's an atheist if anyone wouldn't have guessed. |
