^ My 2 cents.
Nonsense. Islam is just a religion, mostly benign. NATO on the other hand is an aggressive militaristic alliance hell bent on world domination. We atheists need to get our priorities right, our tendency to see a threat where there is none while ignoring the threats that are really there will come back to bite us.

At least I picked a Christian group. I'm not sure how you associate a communist group with me. Were they atheists? Or do you think that I'm a communist? My politics are center-left. Help me out here. What was the link?
Regardless, Christianity is inherently dangerous as are other religions that feature a devil to fight and a hell to save people from. The salvation scheme of Islamo-Christianity are bound to lead to violence, time and time again. All it takes is the right leader to come along.
By contrast, I don't see any link between atheism and the atrocities of Stalin. If there is a cause and effect relationship, please elaborate on that.
I realize there are those who look to other reasons for Islamic terrorism. It's important to remember that there are other religions that experience oppression and they don't kill so indiscriminately. Also, I've read OBL's manifesto. He and other radical Muslims are upset over the secularization of the world and the inherent threat that presents to their way of life.

The hundreds of thousands of civilians murdered by Islamic terrorism in the last decade, including those killed in Shia vs. Sunni conflicts, will be happy to know they were killed for a good reason. Do tell.

No, I'm observing the inevitable result of Islamo-Christian teaching when it isn't restrained by civilization. Remember, we're discussing Islam here, not Muslims. Luckily, most Muslims and Christians don't take their religion that seriously (aka "moderates").

Since I started studying Islam and saw there's not a dime's worth of difference between it and Christianity.
