Don't desecrate your body....or we'll desecrate your body!
(the irish had a law against fighting tigers in public because that's the kind of awesome shit that irish blood gets you into, btw)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Ok, I live in Houston and I want to be able to come in here and complain about this. Then I remember the kinds of elected officials that come from Texas. I mean, George W. Bush, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul..... we don't have a very good track record, do we? Well, at least Houston has a cool Mayor in Anise Parker.
I live on facebook. Come see me there. http://www.facebook.com/tara.rizzatto

Quote:Texas county clerks were overwhelmed with gay couples applying for marriage licenses Friday morning after the U.S. Supreme Court approved same sex marriage, much to the dismay of the Texas Attorney General, reports CBS-DFW. Quote:What is most disturbing is the extent to which this opinion is yet another assault on the actual text of the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law itself,” Abbot wrote. “Just as Roe v. Wade ripped from the hands of the American people the issue of life and placed it in the judge-made ‘penumbras’ of the Constitution, so has this opinion made clear that our governing document – the protector of our liberties through representative government – can be molded to mean anything by unelected judges.” I bet you didn't say that in the wake of Citizens United, did you fuck-face?
A little positive news from Texas....although many there will not see it that way.

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
