Needs a sample of his previous creation in the form of a rib, before being able to make the next version.

I was about to write something similar. Even though god designed the human reproductive system, he doesn't understand that Adam might want to have sex with a female of his own species. When Adam asks for a mate, god brings all the animals to him to see if one suits him. WTF?
