I've never in my life asked out a girl I didn't already know pretty well. I could never get myself to do that. I'm pretty insecure about my looks, so I rely on humor and whatever personality I have to get girls to like me. I had my first actual girlfriend when I was 17. She was somebody I was friends with for over a year. Same thing with my next girlfriend. I could never ask out somebody I didn't already know, I'm much too timid for that.
