Hammy, if you're at all good with tools, I can get you over that apprehensive feeling.\
1. Install a peephole.
2. Get one of those trendy metal-mesh doormats.
3. Run heavy gauge electrical cables from the door mat to the 800w generator which you have thoughtfully placed in your sitting room.
4. The moment you hear the knock, throw the switch.
5. When the sizzling quiets down, call out in a sing-songy voice, 'Who iiiis iiiit?'
