Add to that all the spending rules that have been broken and Cambridge Analytica. Who is being held to account? What is the point of rules if they are not being enforced? It should mean that the referendum is null and void, like the Scottish referendum when the vow was immediately discarded. It means that people essentially voted on misinformation which negates the result.
The result was never therefore binding in any sense of the word but has been taken as an excuse to force a Brexit on people by giving them the illusion of a choice.
It was never binding, however that idiot Cameron did promise the public that action would be taken on the result of the referendum. It's ultimately his fault.
