I'm pretty sure that it was Hitchens who pointed out the mind-wobbling illogic of nuns bathing in covered tubs so that the Almighty wouldn't be offended by their nudity. It seems that God can see into the very depths of time and space, but is stymied by a bit of canvas sheet.
