IDK, everytime somebody gets a wild hair up their ass and calls their ex a witch, we find that their peen was tiny and their cattle malnourished before she ever put a hex on either of them. OTOH, I do have some respect for prosecutors who get convictions for women directing or inflicting "evil spirits" on their SO's...to this or that end.
Imagine the skill required to convict a witch, what with witches not existing. I suspect that it boils down to jury selection. Hand me a bunch of folks like you and it might stick.
