Personally, I appload Anonymous for taking down the DOJ (if they did do that since they haven't claimed responsibility for it) in response to that, but the whole thing is ridiculous anyway. It'll just drive the market somewhere else and people'll still keep doing what they're doing.
Just like with Drugs and prostitution and ohter forms of contraband.
In other words, the US will overreact and attempt to use the stupidest methodology to deal with online piracy possible. I shouldn't be surprised that it was Virginia of all places that reacted this way.
Different sites were saying different things, one said that officers in New Zealand showed up arrested people, and took their equipment. that's where I got the raided thing from. If it was incorrect, I apologize.
